Teaching Aides & Special Needs (Education & Training)

Part-time

$25 – $30 per hour

We are seeking an energetic, caring, organised and motivated Teacher Aide to join our team for the 2024 school year.

This is a fixed-term, part-time position, for up to 16 hours per week, with work between the hours of 9:00 am and 12:30 pm, Monday to Thursday, term time only.   The start date will be after the beginning of the 2024 school year, in February 2024.

The successful candidate will support student learning and contribute positively to our school community.   Experience working with students with learning differences would be an advantage.  

Kairanga School is a rural school just 5km from the Palmerston North City Boundary, a full primary co-educational school with 7 classrooms and approximately 170 students.  

Employment Agreement:  Support Staff in Schools Collective Agreement;  Teacher Aide Grade B/C.   The position is fixed-term for reasons of recruitment.
