Enrolling at Kairanga

Kairanga School operates an enrolment scheme. We are taking enrolments for both this year and next now and it is best to get in quickly so you know what the future holds for your child.

Here is a map of our Enrolment Zone: Zone Map

If you are out of zone – DON’T PANIC – we operate two ballots for out-of-zone pupils, if we have spaces, in July and November. Get your enrolment in and see if you make it.

We welcome visits and tours of our school to enable you to get the best idea of what we offer and how we can cater for your child.

Please contact us in order to discuss your child’s entry and arrange a time to come and meet our Principal and staff.

2024 Enrolment and Ballot Notice

Enrolments at Kairanga School are governed by an enrolment scheme, details of which are available from the school office. Application can be made in writing or by contacting the school office. The deadline for receipt of applications for out-of-zone places for term one, 2023 is October 21 2022.

The Board has determined that 16 places are likely to be available for out-of-zone students in year 0 and 1 (including siblings of current students) starting before the end of term 1, 2023. If the number of out-of-zone applicants exceeds the number of places available, students will be selected by ballot. If a ballot is required it will be held on October 25, 2022. Further ballots, if required, will be held on February 14, May 16, August 8 and October 24 2023.

The Principal, James Rea, welcomes your enquiries.
